1/2 cup butter (113 g)
1/2 cup white sugar (100 g)
1/2 cup brown sugar (110 g)
2 large eggs (100 g)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (28 g)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60 g)
1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5 g)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (1.2 g)
1/2 cup 64%chocolate chips (85 g)

Here are the basic steps to make a batch of 12 brownies.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder.
Gently fold in chocolate chips and then spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
